Saxophone player
Nele Tiebout (1991) is a Belgian saxophonist active as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer.
She studied with Vincent David, Simon Diricq, and Alain Crepin, obtaining master’s degrees from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. She obtained a COP and Cycle de perfectionnement at the Conservatory of Versailles.
She is a laureate of several national and international competitions. Nele is co-founder of the Scarbo saxophone quartet and performs with Ictus, Brussels Philharmonic, Gustav Mahler Jugend, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, NOB, Spectra, I Solisti.
Her artistic interests extend to interdisciplinary collaborations and education. Since 2018, she has been teaching at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège.
