Gilles Gobert is currently professor of mixed composition and lecturer in composition at the Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Liège as well as lecturer in composition, computer-assisted music, installation / performance and lecturer in writings at Arts2.
He created the laptop duo [KNAPP] with the composer Gilles Doneux and is co-founder and member of the LAPS ensemble. He is also co-organiser of the SMOG concert seasons in Brussels.
For several years Gilles Gobert has been working with Norwegian visual artist Inger Elisabeth Gleditsch on installations, concerts/performances and projects involving dance.
A monographic album was released in November 2018 on the SubRosa label.
