HuiChi Li (1998), a percussionist from Taiwan currently based in Belgium, completed her Bachelor's degree at Taipei National University of the Arts and pursued her Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. She is now an advanced contemporary music master (MaNaMa) student at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent with Ictus & spectra, where she is dedicated to discovering diverse techniques to expand her musical expression. She is a member of the G.A.M.E. Ensemble (The Ghent Advanced Master Ensemble), which focuses on collective practices in contemporary, experimental, and improvisational music. She has extensive experience in ensemble playing, having performed with groups in Belgium such as the Spectra Ensemble and the Brussels Philharmonic. In the solo sphere, she has participated in several international competitions, including the Tromp Percussion Competition in Eindhoven, the Majaoja Marimba Competition in Tampere, and the World Marimba Competition in Stuttgart.
