It is with great sadness and sorrow that we learn of the passing of Bruce Richards.
Bruce had been the horn player of Ictus since the beginning, warming us up with his unique sound,
in so many unforgettable concerts. With Philippe Ranallo on trumpet and Alain Pire on trombone,
the three guys formed the most delightful musical-ménage-à-trois ever seen in living memory.
As in those children's tales, Bruce's personality seemed in every way to embody the historical qualities of his instrument:
gravity, depth, a protective power, a discreet melancholy.
Oooo boy, you was shaking the canyons, now it's time to talk to the stars. See you there.
