We are very proud to be welcomed “in residence” for three concerts at the Musikfestivalbern Festival 2025. This pleasure is twofold, as the composer in residence at the same festival is Svetlana Maraš — with whom we began collaborating in 2024 during an anthology concert with the trio 'Pony Says'. The theme of the festival, both simple and rich in contradictory meanings, consists of a single word: “Chains” — the bonds that connect us, the bonds that imprison us.
The three concerts we will present are perfectly in tune with this double meaning. They explicitly break with the codes of the classical concert, while constantly re-creating links with some of the great voices of the past, whose desires and rebellions continue to be our own.

We zijn bijzonder trots tijdens het komende Musikfestival Bern drie verschillende projecten te presenteren. We zijn extra verheugd omdat Svetlana Maraš, met wie we in 2024 ism met het trio ‘Pony Says’ voor het eerst samenwerkten, componist in residentie is. Het thema van het festival, dat zowel eenvoudig als rijk aan tegenstellingen is, bestaat uit één enkel woord: ‘Chains’ – de banden die ons verbinden, de banden die ons gevangen houden.
De drie concerten die we presenteren, sluiten perfect aan bij deze dubbele betekenis. Ze breken expliciet met de codes van het klassieke concert, terwijl ze voortdurend opnieuw verbanden leggen met enkele van de grote stemmen uit het verleden, waarmee we verlangens en een gevoel voor weerstand mee delen.

Nous sommes fiers d'être accueillis en résidence pour trois concerts au Musikfestival Bern 2025. Ce plaisir est redoublé par la présence de la Svetlana Maraš en qualité de compositrice en résidence. Nous avions déjà collaboré avec Svetlana en 2024, lors d'un concert d'anthologie avec le trio « Pony Says ». Le thème du festival, à la fois simple et riche en significations contradictoires, tient en un seul mot : « Chaînes » — les liens qui libèrent, les liens qui emprisonnent.
Les trois concerts que nous présenterons s'inscrivent parfaitement dans cette ambivalence. Ils rompent explicitement avec les codes du concert classique, tout en réactivant constamment des liens avec certaines des grandes voix du passé, dont les désirs et les révoltes continuent d'être les nôtres.
