Born in Athens, Chryssi studied the flute with Stella Gadedi at the Athenaeum Conservatory and, as a scholar of the Alexandra Trianti scholarship and the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, followed postgraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music with Peter Lloyd and Anders Ljungar-Chapelon, the École Normale de Musique de Paris with Pierre-Yves Artaud, the Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg with Mario Caroli and the Hogeschool Gent Conservatorium with Michael Schmid. Chryssi currently lives in Brussels, she works as a freelancer in contemporary music, notably with the Ictus ensemble and the Rosas dance Company, and, having received support by the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation, is a PhD in Arts candidate at the Conservatorium/Free University of Brussels.

Chryssi Dimitriou est née à Athènes. Elle a étudié la flûte avec Stella Gadedi au Conservatoire de Musique Athénaeum. En tant que boursière de la Fondation Alexandra Trianti et par la suite de la Fondation Onassis, elle a poursuivi ses études avec Peter Lloyd et Anders Ljungar-Chapellon au Royal Northern College of Music, puis avec Pierre-Yves Artaud à l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, avec Mario Caroli au Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg, et enfin avec Michael Schmid au conservatoire Hogeschool Gent.

Chryssi vit actuellement vit à Bruxelles où elle travaille en free lance, notamment avec l’ensemble Ictus et la compagnie de danse Rosas. Elle poursuit un doctorat au Conservatorium/Vrije Universiteit de Bruxelles, en tant que boursière de la Fondation Onassis.
